Worship is the highest calling of the Christian, the preeminent activity of those who have received, through Jesus, the mercy and grace of God. The Scriptures plainly teach that we have been created for God's glory and called to a life of worship, not only here in this life, but throughout eternity. Understanding that worship plays such an important part in the life of the believer and in the Kingdom economy of God, Bay Area Presbyterian offers a service containing a blend of traditional classic hymns and contemporary music. We have a wonderful chancel choir and a dynamic praise team who assist the congregation in lifting their voices and hearts in praise to God.

Recognizing that worship should be edifying and understandable to the gathered worshippers, our primary goal is to give glory and honor to the Lord. Bay Area Presbyterian also gives a primary place to the Word of God in worship. We understand that conversion as well as spiritual growth occurs as the Word of God is proclaimed, explained, and applied. As a result, on any given Sunday you will find great emphasis given to reading and teaching the Scripture in worship.
