Community is a very important part of the Christian life. All of us need community. We need solid relationships based on a common faith in Jesus Christ. We need friends who will encourage us in our faith, people with whom we can be real, and look to for love, acceptance, and support as we journey together in the grace of God.

Joy is found in Christian community which is why we put great emphasis on small groups at Bay Area Presbyterian.

Small Groups - This is a weekly small group gathering in which members and friends of BAPC meet in homes throughout the Clear Lake area for prayer, fellowship, and studies on various topics.

Book of Jeremiah: This group meets on Monday nights at 13603 Hidden Dell, Houston 77059. Led by Chris D'Souza (281) 480-5679. Children are welcome, but no childcare is provided.

Sermon Rewind Groups: These groups reflect on the morning's sermon with discussion, thought-provoking questions, and prayer. We currently have 3 sermon rewind groups in various areas:

Sunday 5:00pm. 1108 Woodchase Dr., Pearland 77581. Led by Mark McAvoy (281) 993-2564. Children are welcome.

Sunday 5:30pm. This group meets in various homes throughout the Clear Lake Area. Led by Nat Davidson. (832) 317-0572. Children are welcome.

Sunday 6:00pm. This group meets in various homes in the Clear Lake Area. Led by Dave Kanipe (281) 488-3747. Adults only.

R.C. Sproul's book, Now That's a Good Question: This group meets in the League City/Kemah/Seabrook area at 5:30pm Sunday evenings. Channon Visscher leads this group, (281) 543-4749. Children are welcome.

Book Study (book TBD): This is the original Anchors group and meets Tuesday evenings in homes around the League City/Kemah/Seabrook area. Anne Lockett is the coordinator for this group (832) 654-0315. Adults only.

Heart and Home - This is a monthly opportunity for fellowship in which participants get together to share casual fellowship around a meal. Groups are formed in the Spring and Fall.
